1
The Vikings hold onto their spot once again this week but only by a thread. They have yet to show us what we expected in the preseason but have also yet to race their full squad on a fast course. Great American will be the true test of this team.
2
Blacksburg on the other hand has been batting above their average this season. They are putting themselves in great contention to get that state team title back and move to number one. Their matchup at GAXC will be crucial for their ranking.
3
Midlothian had a strong weekend down at Adidas but were without their number two Kylie Bonser. This team is right now the strongest in Class 5.
4
Historically this team has peaked in the post-season so it is difficult to gauge them properly yet. They are planning on heading to GAXC which should elucidate some more information in two weeks.
5
The Dolphins hold this spot thanks to their strong victory at the RVA Relays. Aniya Mosley is not the only star on this team...
6
Lake Braddock continues to impress after two down years. This team is now the solid favorite in our book for the class 6 title.
7
Right behind Braddock but with a much easier path to the state meet is John Champe. They won both 4x8's last year at States for Class 5 and will be looking for another team title but in Class 6 XC now. This team is also headed to GAXC.
8
Kellam is quickly emerged as another team hopeful for the Class 6 division.

This team is strong upfront, stronger now with some very fast freshmen who will look to continue their winning ways.

Second place finish last week at RVA Relays propels this team into the rankings.

Oatlands was faster than usual and that certainly helped Tusky move into the rankings.
