In clash between two of Group AAA's best, Mountain View boys (136 pts) defeated Grassfield (146 pts) by 10 points as the team title was decided in the fifth runner position. Centreville's Yazid Zouaimia and Mountain View's Kaitlyn Davis were the individual winners with Davis as an 18:09 winner needing a late kick over Brooke Point's Katherine Walker (18:11) for the win. Zouaimia defeated VA #1 ranked Kevin Dowd of Fairfax, who finished third and 10 seconds behind Zouaimia and John McGowan of Sidwell Friends (DC), both timed at 15:45. The West Potomac girls (191 pts) rolled to a team title with a margin of victory of 38 points as Bishop O'Connell (226 pts) held off Brentsville (238 pts) for second place.
