Special Women's Triple Jump To Highlight East Coast Invite

Buckle up, this year's East Coast Invitational will feature a special women's Olympic Development triple jump competition that is sure to light up the world rankings. The best part of this is that it will be live on FloTrack! There will be action all day on the track but the triple jump competition will takeoff at 2:00pm eastern. 


In the competition there are currently six athletes slated to compete with the potential for another couple. The six already confirmed though are sure to make the most of it. Check out the athletes below and their personal bests.

Thea LaFond (adidas) - personal best of 14.90m (Dominica Record)

Imani Oliver (Tracksmith) - Personal best of 14.22m

Mylana Hearn (USA)- Personal best of 13.61m
Adja Sackor (USA) - Personal best of 13.51m
Aniella Delafosse (CIV) - Personal best of 12.91m

The current Virginia Beach Sports Center record is 47-8.5 (Thea LaFond - 2021) on the women's side which converts to 14.54m. The current world leader is Gabriela Petrova of Bulgaria with her season best of 14.38.
