Four abreast in the lead at the end of the first mile -- from the left, North Stafford freshman Kelly Reinwald, Colonial Forge freshman Kay Comer, Brooke Point sophomore Brittany Copeland and Colonial Forge sophomore Molly Hawkins.
Not far behind the lead pack are two more underclassmen, on the left Brooke Point freshman Brittany Wilhelm and on the right Riverbend sophomore Kendall Carty.
At the two mile point the pack of four has opened a lead, still the same four but with the Albemarle Invitational leaders from Saturday holding a slight lead.
But in the end, it's Kelly Reinwald who has broken away to take first place with a time of 19:45, eclipsing the best Loriella time of another well known North Stafford standout who now runs for William and Mary -- Kristyn Shiring.
It's the Colonial Forge pair in second and third, Kay Comer on the left with a time of 19:56 and Molly Hawkins in 19:57.
And in a close fourth is Brittany Copeland with a time of 19:59.
Top AA finisher of the day was Kendall Carty with a time of 20:45.
With Culpeper County junior Devin Cornwall holding a slim edge, the lead pack goes through the first mile in 4:57-4:58.
At the 2 mile point, Cornwall has opened up a 9-10 second lead.
Next up at the 2 mile point with hair-a-flyin' are Dick and Nowotarski.
Bring home the All Area Championship is Devin Cornwall, with a second best Milestat database time of 16:38 for Loriella Park.
Brandon Dick takes the runner-up position with a strong 16:48 Loriella showing.
Tony Nowotarski outkicks his Colonial Forge teammate, junior Nick Oltman, as they cross the line with times of 16:54 and 16:55.
Coming in 4th with a time of 16:56 is James Monroe senior Tim Young. With this kind of time on the slow Loriella course, Young sends a strong signal to the Class A field that he will be in the running at State Championships. Finishing behind Young is another Colonial Forge runner, Arno Deickmann with a time of 16:59.
