ALLENTOWN, PA - The Mary Washington cross country teams competed at the DeSales University invitational on Saturday.
For the women, who finished seventh among 27 schools, Erin Connelly was the top finisher, in 26th place at 25:20. Christy Falcone was 36th at 25:52, and Ann Tripp was 39th at 25:57. Sarah Ellis was 43rd, at 26:00.
On the men\'s side, UMW placed sixth among 28 schools. UMW was led by Todd Kronenberg, at 27:15 in tenth place. Matt Kirk was 16th, at 27:36, and Justin Kirk was 19th at 27:43.
The cross country teams will return to action next weekend when they visit Salisbury University for the Mason Dixon Invitational at 11 am.
