BOSTON, MA -- Virginia Intermont College's Fernando Cabada finished fifth in the
3,000-meters at the US Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Reggie
Lewis Center in Boston, MA today. Cabada's finish was his highest in a
United States championship and was a personal best of 8:00.27.
Cabada will lead his team at the NAIA National Championships in Johnson City, TN starting March 3rd, before representing the US at the NACAC Cross Country Championships in Orlando, FL March 6.
The US Indoor Championships will be televised Sunday, February 27th on ESPN from 3-5pm.
