Grassfield's Jeremy Greenwald (photo by Ryan Kelly) established himself as the favorite in the Eastern Region and potentially Group AAA state title contender with his VA #3 5K time of 15:46 to win the Chesapeake Invitational this past Saturday at Bells Mill Park. Greenwald defeated Bethel's William Brown who earlier this season posted a 15:43 5K performance at the Newport News Invitational, while Grassfield teammate Seth Taylor also ran one of the fastest times in the state in third place at 15:56 (VA #6).
