Hello everyone! My last entry began with me saying how fast the season has passed and how I couldn’t believe I had my last district meet ever. The same applies for this entry. I just now had my last regional meet. And, funny enough, it was at the same course I raced in my first regional meet. I found that to be very appropriate. Most people go into meets with goals of placing well and getting good times. However, I went into Regionals with the goal of not getting injured. At the same course and meet my freshman year, I broke a bone in my foot in the middle of the race. I managed to finish, but it was quite painful. The superstition of having the same thing happen was actually getting to me. So, after the fact, I am glad to let everyone know that I survived the race, injury free.
