On the men\'s side, US Naval Academy finished first with 21 points, Millersville finished second with 70 points, Salisbury was third with 72 points, Rowan placed fourth with 102 points and the Captains fifth with 126 points.
David Barham led the Captains by finishing eighth overall with a time of 26:18. Daniel Swale finished 17th with a time of 26:54, Nathaniel Huffman was 35th with a time of 27:50, David Woodson and Jesse Hutcheson finished 43rd with a time of 28:23, Tom Camp was 46th in 28:32, Mike Ross was 51st in 28:50, John Hoehne was 61st with a time of 29:43, Daniel Berry was 63rd witha time of 29:53 and Zach Crump finished 63rd in 30:00 minutes.
On the women\'s side, Messiah was first with 55 points, Salisbury was second with 59 points, Christopher Newport was third with 87 points, Millersville was fourth with 90 points and Franklin & Marshall was fifth with 115 points.
Liz Bissell finished second overall in her first collegiate meet with a time of 22:30. Emily Low placed third with a time of 22:37, Ashley Ezell was 11th with a time of 23:36, Elizabeth Browning was 33rd in 25:05, Beth Bartelmes was 39th with a time of 25:25, Teresa Knoll was 61st in 27:15, Rachel Monroe was 67th with a time of 28:22, and Kelly Quinn finished 76th with a time of 29:02.
Christopher Newport returns to action Saturday, Sept. 17 at the NYU Invitational.
