Team Ranked First in the Southeast Regional Poll
WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The release of the first MONDO Division I National Poll brought good news for coach Alex Gibby's runners, as the College was ranked 19th in the poll of the top 30 teams in the nation. This is the Tribe's first preseason ranking since 2003, when they were picked 18th. In addition to the national poll, the United States Cross Country Coaches Association released polls for each of the nine regions. Despite being ranked behind ACC rival N.C. State (18th) in the national poll, W&M was chosen as the top team in the Southeast region.
The next test for the Tribe will be on September 24, at the Great American Festival in Cary, NC.
