Meet management has exclusively provided MileSplit VA with the newly released preliminary race assignments. Below is the release from meet management.
MECHANICSVILLE, Va. - The VA XC Showcase is excited to announce our preliminary race assignments for the upcoming event. Prior to listing these teams we would like to note a few items.
First, on this list you will find three categories of status - locked in Showcase, locked in Morning Session, and just ranked. Those categories are meant to give an estimate where teams rank and whether they are locked into a particular race.
The Showcase Division will be roughly the top 35 teams with the next best ~5-10 teams being in the Elite Division. Joining those teams in the Elite Division will be teams with conflicts and/or teams whose other gender qualified for the Morning Session. This should round out the field around ~30 teams.
Second, this list is constantly updating and will not be finalized until registration closing. Expect changes in multiple spots.
Finally, if there are known conflicts, email meet management immediately at TheVAShowcase@gmail.com . If you have already received a response, there is no need to email again.
