How did you get started running and why?
I embarked on my running career as a freshman because one of my fondest friends, Eric Bracco, had noticed my stellar performance in a local 5k. The following day he pursued me in the hallways and acknowledged the fact that I had beaten him who was an almost religious runner at the time. He advised me I should try out for the cross country team.
What kind of training did you do over the summer to prepare for the season?
Over the summer we slowly bump up the mileage from track and ease into the cross country season. We do many fartleks for hard workouts (biweekly) and long runs (hebdomadal).
Was there a particular race in which you felt your individual race helped the team's outcome?
