Several teams and individuals from the state of Virginia are strong hopefuls for Nike Cross Nationals berths to Portland, Oregon on the first weekend of December. There is also an interesting dynamic this year with arguably the state's top squads for both boys and girls trying to enjoy the best of both worlds with an individual Foot Locker finalist and Nike Cross Nationals qualifying team.
