A trio of George Mason men\'s track and field athletes will be returning to Fairfax, Va. with from the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships with \"All-American\" attached to their name. Senior Marc Kellman, sophomore Ryan McCoy and senior Richard Phillips earned All-American status on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark. Kellman was fifth in the triple jump, McCoy was eighth in the triple jump and Phillips was eighth in the 60-meter hurdles.

The state of Virginia surely made it\'s presence felt at the fifth annual Nike Indoor Championships, held at the Prince George County\'s Sports and Learning Complex. Over the two day contested national meet, seven national titles and dozens of All-American medals were brought home by Virginians.

Despite a few teams not being able to make it to the Fork Union Invitational due to school closings Friday because of the snow storm, the majority of the teams entered in the meet made the trek to Fork Union to make for one exciting day of track and field.

e rain showers did not dampen the enthusiasm or the competition in the inaugural South West Track and Field Invitational at Radford University. The William Fleming boys and the Cave Spring girls took the team championships in impressive fashion.
