FLUVANNA COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INVITAITONAL MEET

Dear Coach/Athletic Director

We would like to invite you to the annual Fluvanna County High School Outdoor Track and Field Invitational Meet. The meet will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Fluvanna County High.

The meet will be limited to 15 teams. Please fill out the enclosed form or e-mail Steve Szarmach at sszarmach@mail.fluco.org as soon as possible to let us know if you will be able to attend.

GUIDELINES FOR FLUVANNA COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL


Entries: Three entries per event per school and one relay team per school.It is preferred that entries are made online at Milestat.com. Please e-mail Tom Casto at tcasto@mail.fluco.org to receive the password for online entries. If you need to submit your entry using Hy-Tek, please email Tom Casto to get the events file for the meet.

Entry Fees: $80 per team or $160 for both teams (male and female)

Make checks payable to FCHS Track.

Teams are asked to provide one adult worker for field events.

Please be certain that adult workers arrive prior to the start of the field events.

Entry Deadline: Monday, April 30 by midnight

Entries will not be processed until entry fee has been received.

Eligibilty: The meet is sanctioned by VHSL.

Track: 8-lane Latex rubber track and aprons, spikes limited to inch or less.

Awards: Medals will be given to the top six in each individual event and to the top three relay teams. There will be trophies awarded to the M.V.P. girl and boy, as well as, the meet champion teams.

Facilities: There are restrooms facilities available at the track, the high school will be off limits.

Concessions: Concessions will be available. Two meal tickets will be provided in each coachs packet. One for the boys head coach and one for the girls head coach. Additional meal tickets will be provided for field event workers.

T-shirts: There will be t-shirts on sale.

Timing: F.A.T. All running events will be run in sections (slow to fast) with all places being determined by times. NO TRIALS, ALL FINALS.
