9:35am High School Boys Varsity 5000m
10:10am High School Girls Junior Varsity 5000m

12:00 pm Collegiate Men 5000m
The Course:
The course is 100% grass over rolling hills. We will be using a modified version of the course used in 2008 and 2011 which is considerably faster than the course used in the previous years.
Entry Procedures:
We ask that you please e-mail Jennifer Fazioli at faziolijk@vmi.edu by August 21st and confirm that you anticipate attending this years invitational. By doing so it will better help us organize the best possible meet for both coaches and athletes. You will not be denied entry into the meet if you dont meet this deadline.
Entry Deadline is Monday August 27th by noon via Direct Athletics:
Field Limitations: The high school varsity races are limited to seven runners. All junior varsity races are unlimited. The university/college fields are unlimited as well.
Awards:
As with the VMI Classic High School Track Invitational held each spring, expect first class awards for this years cross country invitational. Team awards will be awarded to the top two teams in each division (both collegiate and high school) and custom VMI medals (pictured right) will be awarded to the top 10 individuals in each varsity and junior varsity race.
Entry Fees
$80 High School boys or girls. $160 boys and girls combined or $15/individual. Junior varsity teams are free with their varsity team entry fee. $80 for collegiate women or men, $160 combined or $15/individual.
Entry fees must be received prior to Sept 2nd. There is a $25 late fee for entries not received by race day . The mail can be slow so mail early. You may bring your entry fee on race day.

Directions to the Virginia Horse Center
From the North: I-81 South to Exit 191. Proceed on I-64 West 1/2 mile to Exit 55. Turn right on Route 11 North, and immediately left on Route 39 West. The Virginia Horse Center is one mile ahead on the left. The cross country course will be on your right.
From the South: I-81 North to Exit 191. Proceed on I-64 West 1/2 mile to Exit 55. Turn right on Route 11 North, and immediately left on Route 39 West. The Virginia Horse Center is one mile ahead on the left. The cross country course will be on your right.
From the East: I-64 West to I-81 South. I-81 South to Exit 191. Proceed on I-64 West 1/2 mile to Exit 55. Turn right on Route 11 North, and immediately left on Route 39 West. The Virginia Horse Center is one mile ahead on the left. The cross country course will be on your right.
From the West: I-64 East to Exit 55. Turn left on Route 11 North, and proceed 1/4 mile to stoplight. Turn left on Route 39 West. The Virginia Horse Center is one mile ahead on the left. The cross country course will be on your right.
