All entries for the Charles City Invitational MUST be done online.
The Charles City Invitational is one of the rare invitationals that invite schools from all levels to meet on a level playing field. Schools from Private leagues, Group A, Group AA, and Group AAA all have an equal opportunity to have the feel of a state track meet before actually experiencing the event!
The previous CCHS Invitationals have consisted of numerous teams from all levels. We hope to get back to that premiere stature with the return of the event and we encourage each and every one of you to get an opportunity for your best athletes to come out and compete against the best!
With numerous jumping and throwing areas, along with a rubberized track and an F.A.T. timing system, Charles City High School's track has one of the most beautiful facilities in central Virginia.
*New this year is the 4x800 meter relay. Normally, single A schools do not run this event, but because of the growth of our invitational, we are offering this event.
Charles City High School is conveniently located just east of Richmond and just west of Williamsburg. The school's location has made it convenient in the past for teams from the Richmond Metro area along with schools from the Tidewater area to conveniently gather together and meet, making it a great experience for all schools!

Entry Limit: Three athletes per event. One relay team allowed per event.

8:30 a.m.- Coaches Meeting/Weighing of Implements
9:00 a.m- Girls Long Jump, Boys Long Jump, Girls Shot, Boys Shot, Girls High Jump
10:00 a.m.- Girls 100/Boys 110 Meter Hurdles Trials (if necessary)
10:15 a.m.- Girls/Boys 100 Meter Dash Trials (if necessary)
10:30 a.m.- Girls Discus, Boys Discus, Girls Triple Jump, Boys Triple Jump, Boys High Jump, Girls/Boys 4x800 Relay
11:00 a.m.- Girls 100/Boys 110 Meter Hurdles Final
11:10 a.m.- Girls/Boys 100 Meter Dash Finals
11:20 a.m.- Girls/Boys 1600 Meter Run
11:35 a.m.- Girls/Boys 4x100 Meter Relay
11:45 a.m.- Girls/Boys 400 Meter Dash
12:00 p.m.- Girls/Boys 300 Meter Hurdles
12:20 p.m.- Girls/Boys 800 Meter Run
12:40 p.m.- Girls/Boys 200 Meter Dash
1:00 p.m- Girls/Boys 3200 Meter Run
1:30 p.m.- Girls/Boys 4x400 Meter Relay
Admission: $5.00 (Ages 6 & up)
Timing: F.A.T. Timing System
Sanctioning: VHSL Sanctioned
Meet Facilities: 8-lane rubberized track, two jumping pits, two shot and discus areas, high jump area.
Awards: Team Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for both boys and girls. Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place event winners.
Field Events: Four attempts total. (No Finals)
Running Events: Trials for the girls 100 meter hurdles, boys 110 hurdles, girls 100 meter dash, and boys 100 meter dash. (If Necessary) Finals to consist of the top eight fastest times. All other events seeded by best times.
Deadline: CC Invitational- March 27, 2013
Please make checks/money orders payable to Charles City High School. All checks and/or money orders must be received by March 27, 2013. Please have them postmarked by March 21, 2013 to insure their delivery to Charles City High School.
