Region B Meet 2005

At the Region B Meet, the Clarke County boys simply put on a show in winning the regional title by a low team score of 17 points as the top four finishers in the race were all from Clarke County, while the next three runners for the squad finished within the top ten. Currently the fifth ranked team overall in the state, the Group A powerhouse is looking to prove they do belong to rated among the best teams in the state regardless of school classification at next weekend\'s state meet. The defending Group A state individual champion, Clarke County junior Simon Biddle-Snead won the individual region title with a 16:14 on the Panorama Farms 5K course. Meanwhile, teammates Ben Veilleux (2nd, 16:24), Michael Leonard (3rd, 16:37), and Daniel Callan (4th, 16:53) took the next three places to all go under 17 minutes. Bryan Broy (8th, 17:13), Chris York (9th, 17:20), and Joe Racer (10th, 17:21) all provided extra depth for the squad with All-Region performances.
