ENTRY RULES: Participation in the 4A South Region Cross Country Varsity races is limited to the top 4 teams and the top 15 individuals from each of the conferences that comprise the 4A South Region.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON-LINE THROUGH WWW.MILESTAT.COM. Each team may enter 10 athletes (7 Runners + 3 Alternates) to choose their 7 participants from. Athletes not on the Entry Roster will not be eligible for the meet.
ENTRY DEADLINE: No later than 11:59PM on Sunday, November 3, 2013.
RULES: Cross Country section of the National Federation Edition of the Track and Field Rule Book (2013-2014) Scoring (Rule 9- Section 2)
COURSE: 5000 Meters (3.1 miles), mostly grass. Flats or short spikes are recommended. The course is a spectator friendly course.
COURSE TOURS: A map of the course is attached. The course will be well marked and easy to follow. Teams and individuals are encouraged to tour the course before the day of the meet.
NOTE: THE COURSE WILL BE CLOSED AT 1:30 PM ON RACE DAY AND NO FURTHER TOURING WILL BE ALLOWED.
ALL REGION TEAM: The top 15 finishers in each of the Varsity Championship races (Boy's & Girl's) shall earn All Regional Cross Country Team Honors for 2013.
COACH OF THE YEAR: The coach receiving the most votes by ballot will be the 4A South Region Coach of the Year. Please return all ballots to the Scorer Tent.
STATE ADVANCEMENT: Top 6 Team and Top 10 Individuals not on advancing teams.
STATE ENTRY INFORMATION: Please review the State Meet Entry Information in your team packet.
T-SHIRTS: MSP will be onsite selling 4A South Region T-Shirts.
DIRECTIONS: Pole Green Park is located on Pole Green Road about 3 miles from the intersection of Pole Green Rd, and I-295. Upon entering the Park, stay on the main road past Pole Green Elementary School to the rear of the Park. The course is just past the Skate Park and softball fields.
