In her first race of the season coming back from injury, Ocean Lakes senior Nikki Park led her team to the 6A South Region title with a runner-up individual finish of 18:50.

First race of the season for senior Nikki Park after missing the entire season before due to injury and she showed a remarkable level of fitness coming back from her season-long obstacle in a runner-up individual finish to help lead the Ocean Lakes girls to a dominant team victory at the 6A South Regional. Her return certainly bolsters the lineup for Ocean Lakes to the point that they have to be considered a strong contender for a top 3 state meet finish next Friday in the Group 6A race at Great Meadow.
