Photo sequence of Prince George senior John Warren leaping to an improved US leading mark of 51'3" in the triple jump at the 5A Conference 12 Meet on Saturday. The jump from the Kansas state champion as a junior and Texas state champion as a sophomore ranks Warren US #16 all-time in the event indoors (VA #5 on all-time list). A remarkable performance considering the mark came at the Arthur Ashe Center which does not allow athletes to wear spikes at the bottom of their competition shoes. Photos taken by Scott Reid.
