Parking
1. Please do not stop in front of the track to drop athletes
2. Buses (only) are to park in the Cage
3. All spectators are to park in lot across from the track (U Hall)
4. Handicap parking is across from the track

Policies
1. Spikes may only be worn during competition (1/4")
2. Athletes are not permitted in any building or other sports complex areas
3. Use the trash receptacles that are provided
4. No glass containers, drinks or food will be allowed on the track surface
5. All audible devices must be equipped and operated by headphones
6. Warm up areas - marked on the UVA layout
A. Area by the shed where the clerking area is located
B. Field - next to the LAX Stadium
7. Starting blocks are to only be used at the starting line
8. Teams are expected to use the equipment and facility in the proper manner
9. Please remind athletes to throw hip numbers away (not on the track or grass areas)
Facility
1. 400 meter track - 8 lanes
2. Two Long Jump Pits
3. 2 High Jump Pits- Both Girls and Boys will jump at the same time
4. 2 Pole Vault Pits - Both Girls and Boys will vault at the same time
Arriving at the Track
1. Teams are to enter at the gate by the track shed
2. Tents may go around the fence (starting at the shed to the pole about where the 300 hurdles start and on the hill)
3. Tents may also go outside the track (old tent city from the past) - left side of road heading to the
athlete entrance
Concessions
1. Concession stand will be provided
Admission $7.00
1. Will set up inside of the main entrance to the track .
Emergency Medical Services
1. Athletic Trainer - Potomac High School - will be stationed in the clerking area
2. Emergency transportation requires the coaches approval and emergency card
Meet Officials and Assignments:

800, 1600, and 3200 will be in alleys - top seeds will be in the outside alley.
4 x100 - Lanes
4 x 400 - 3 turn - 2nd runner breaks
4 x 800 - Waterfall (Alley if necessary)
State Meet Entries:
The entry deadline for your entries will be NOON on Sunday, June 1. This will give me a few hours to confirm all entries.
After I have confirmed entries you have until 1 pm on Monday to make scratches not additions to
After 11:00 am on Monday June 2, all athletes are confirmed and the declaration rule takes effect.

Region Entries: Online Registration is May 23rd at 5:00 PM
We are now using meets of 4 or more to acquire Region Qualifiers. We will still do online entries; however, if your 4 way meets are not in the Milestat data base you must have a verified Region Qualification Form signed by the host director. This form is to be given to your Conference Director at the Conference Championship.
DO NOT FAX THEM TO ME.
The Conference Director will then be responsible for emailing me a Region Qualifying list from their Conference by noon on Saturday May 24 so I can confirm these entries. Once they are confirmed a performance list will sent to Milestat.
Coaches need to remember the Declaration Rule on entries. If you enter the 1600, 800, and 3200 the athlete will be scratched from the last race and you may not add him/her to the 4 x 800 on the first day of the Championship. Also, if you enter the 100, 200, and 400 (as an example) you may not scratch from one and add a relay. This will be the same for the State Championship
