To Participants in the SRHS Cross Country Invitational
It is with deep regret that I need to inform you that on Friday September 5th, we were informed that we are unable to use our Cross Country Course at Goodview School this year. This came as a complete surprise to us as it was mowed and ready to go. We spent the weekend and Monday trying to come up with a viable option, including trying to revive our on Campus course with the available space that was not affected by the construction on campus five years ago. At this time we do not have a solution to the problem and will have to cancel our Invitational until we can develop a new course.
I apologize to all of you especially those who cannot adjust your schedule at this late date. It is my sincere hope that we can solve the problem for the future and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for those of you who have supported the Staunton River Cross Country Invitational for the past fifteen years.
Those of you who have submitted checks will receive a refund in the next week. Thanks again for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Joe C. Curcio
