2014-2015 Capitol Conference 13 Indoor Track and Field Championships
Preseason Mtg: The 5A/6A Regional Indoor Track and Field Meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2014 in the T.C. Williams Auditorium at 7 pm. Park in the garage and enter thru door 36.
Date, Site, Time: Field Events: Tuesday February 3, 2015 @ Episcopal. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Field events will start at 5:50 pm: Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Pole Vault, and High Jump. Running Events: 55 M Hurdles/55 M Dash Trials and 3200 M Relay Finals.
Running Events: Friday February 6, 2015 @ TJ Community Center. Doors open at 5:00 pm
*Scratch Meeting: Monday, February 2, 2015 @ Wakefield H.S. at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria

*Entry Deadline: District Entries will open on January 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. All entries will be entered on www.milestat.com by 12:00 noon, January 31, 2015.
Performance list will be sent to the coaches by 6:00 pm on Saturday January 31, 2015.
Admission: General Admission is $7.00. Athletes will be checked in at the main door.
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all individual and relay events.
Awards: Championship Plaques, Medals for the Championship Team, Runner up Plaques for both girls and boys teams, Medals for 1st through 3rd places in the individual and relay events.
Entries: Each school may enter three (3) individuals in each event. If more than three are entered, all must have met the Conference Standard during the current indoor season in a sanctioned meet. All athletes entered in an individual event must have a time or distance to be in the Conference Meet. Long Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vault are exempt from this rule. An athlete may be entered in these 3 events with No Mark
Event Limitation: In one meet a contestant may compete in any number of field events but shall be limited to participation in only three running events, except that a contestant who competes in the 3200 M Run may compete in only one other running event on the same day.
Standards: See attached Standard Sheet.
Note: The one minute rule will apply in all field events.
Scratches: Scratches in any seeded or sectioned running event following the coaches scratch meeting will not disqualify an athlete from all subsequent running events. However, it still counts against the total number of events of the athlete.
Reporting: In events run by heats, all runners should report to the clerk on first call. Athletes that do not report by the third call, will be scratched from that individual event.
Track: NO SPIKES WILL BE WORN AT THOMAS JEFFERESON. AT EPISCOPAL 1/8 SPIKES OR LESS ONLY.
Long/Triple/Shot: Four jumps/throws, no finals. The athlete must have one legal jump/throw in the first three attempts to qualify for the fourth attempt.
Uniforms: Participants will be required to wear team uniforms while competing. Meet numbers will be issued to each school and required to be worn on the front of the uniform. Running athletes will get hip numbers when they check in for their running events. Hip numbers will be worn on the left hip. In relay events each team member shall wear the same color and design school uniform, jersey and trunks. When other apparel is worn under the uniform, it will be considered undergarments and must be one solid color.
Regional Entries: Mountain View High School will be sending out the 5A Region information shortly.
