Blacksburg Invitational Meet Manager


Directions:

The school's address is 3401 Bruin Lane Blacksburg, VA 24060.  From I-18 take Exit 118 (also VA Tech exit). This goes onto a collector lane that you will follow to Exit 118-B (to Blacksburg). Stay on this road. You will be traveling West on 460 Bypass.  Stay on Route 460 heading west. Take the 2nd Price's Fork Road which will go under the overpass and clover leaf around to the right.  Continue on Price's Fork Road (heading west) past Foxridge Apartments (on the left), shopping center (on the left), volunteer fire department (on the right), Kipps Elementary School (on the left), and Blacksburg Middle School (on the left). Continue past BMS.

• BUSES turn left into the BMS bus loop. Follow the signs for buses.  We will have parent volunteers to guide you.

• SPECTATORS turn left at the traffic light with the electronic sign for the high school.  There will also be smaller signs for guests.  Go past the baseball fields then turn left into the student parking lot at the Big Rock.  There will volunteers to guide you to the proper parking lot.



Admission: $5 per guest.



Seating:

We have not yet installed bleachers.  Parents and guests can come with the foldable chairs.  There is a soccer field along the home stretch that is elevated about 15 feet above the track and provides a great view of all the running and jumping events.  Throws sectors are located about 75 yards off the west end of the track.  Please know that no spectators will be allowed on the track or in the infield.



Rest Rooms:

Can be found in the building located at the east end of the football field just the other side of the spectator’s parking lot.



Concessions will be available and include pizza, chips, assorted candy bars, water and Gatorade.
