I. DATES: FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, May 29 & 30, 2015
II. SITE: Caroline High School: 400 Meter, 8 lane, all-weather track. Concrete shot and discus throwing surfaces.
All-weather surfaces on LJ/TJ , PV runways and HJ surface. ONLY SPIKES
1/8 or less and flats may be used on the all-weather surfaces. Locker rooms are not
available. Athletes should come dressed to run. Restrooms will be open in the stadium.
III. ADMISSION: $7.00 each day. VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPALS AND HONORED GUEST PASSES will be
accepted. DISTRICT & FACULTY passes and WILL NOT be accepted. Entrance at front gate near ticket booth.
Athletes will be admitted free at the PASS GATE entrance to the stadium. Athletes will be admitted by
uniform. Athletes not in uniform will have to pay admission in order to enter the stadium.
IV. EQUIPMENT: Meet management will furnish starting blocks. All other equipment, team or personal
must be furnished by the competing schools. UNIFORM RULES WILL BE
ENFORCED. Please handle athletic training needs such as taping as a school. There will be a certified trainer on hand for first aid and emergencies.

IX. ENTRY FORMS: OFFICIAL REGIONAL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON LINE VIA THE MILESTAT ENTRY
& Deadlines SYSTEM NO LATER THAN 11:59 PM, SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2015. ENTRY PERFORMANCES MUST BE THE BETTER OF THEIR CONFERENCE PERFORMANCE (TRIAL OR FINAL) OR A VERIFIED REGIONAL QUALIFYING PERFORMANCE FROM A 2015 OUTDOOR SEASON MEET OF FOUR (4) OR MORE TEAMS.

X. DECLARATION ALL ENTRIES RUNNING EVENTS AT THE DEADLINE ON SUNDAY WILL BE
RULE: CONFIRMED AS ENTERED. AND WILL COUNT AGAINST THE ATHLETES MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE EVENTS WHETHER THEY CONTEST THEM OR NOT.
XI. RELAY Relay teams will be declared on a relay card provided at the meet at the time of event check-in.
DECLARATION: Six (6) athletes may be listed any four (4) of whom may run. The relay will count as an event
only for those four (4) athletes who actually compete. ALL RELAY RUNNERS AND
ALTERNATES MUST BE LISTED ON YOUR ON-LINE ENTRY. Note that the only way to
enter an athlete who is only going to be used as a relay runner is to list them in one of the 8
slots allowed for each relay. DO NOT ENTER MORE THAN EIGHT (8) NAMES FOR ANY ONE
RELAY.
XII. WEIGH-IN: The Girls shot and Boys discus will take place on Friday, May 29 at
2:00 pm. The Girls Discus and Boys Shot and Girls & Boys Pole Vault weigh-in/certifications will take place Saturday, May 30 at 9:00 AM. All implements not meeting specifications will be impounded until the end of the meet. Only those implements properly inspected and so marked may be used at the meet.
XIII. SECTORS The SHOT and DISCUS SECTORS will be 34.92 degrees.
XIV. STARTING HTS: WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GAMES COMMITTEE ON MONDAY NIGHT, AT A MEETING AT
& PROGRESSIONS CAROLINE HIGH SCHOOL. THE GAMES COMMITTEE WILL CONSIST OF EACH CONFERENCE
MEET DIRECTOR. ANYONE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND MAY CALL THE MEET DIRECTOR ON
MONDAY TO VOICE THEIR OPINION.
XV STATE MEET INDIVIDUALS PLACING IN THE TOP 6 AND RELAY TEAMS PLACING IN THE TOP 3
QUALIFYING: IN THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET AND THOSE INDIVIDUALS AND RELAY
TEAMS HAVING MET THE STATE MEET STANDARDS WILL QUALIFY FOR THE 4A
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET. ONE (1) COPY OF YOUR STATE MEET ENTRY
FORM ALONG WITH ANY STATE VERIFICATION FORMS MUST BE FILED WITH THE
REGIONAL MEET DIRECTOR BEFORE LEAVING THE REGIONAL MEET.
XVI. Miscellaneous: NO RADIOS, Noise makers, ETC. WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM. INDIVIDUAL
WALKMEN & TAPE WITH EARPHONES THAT CAN ONLY BE HEARD BY THE INDIVIDUALS
WEARING THEM WILL BE ALLOWED, BUT NOT IN THE COMPETITION AREA.. THE
COMPETITION AREA IS ANYTHING INSIDE THE FENCE SURROUNDING THE TRACK AND
Throwing Area.
SPECIAL REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET T-SHIRTS WILL BE ON SALE AT THE
CHAMPIONSHIP MEET. PLEASE INFORM ALL PARTICIPANTS
XVII. PARKING: Buses are to park in the lot BEHIND the school. PARK BEHIND THE SCHOOL!!
There is a large lot beside the school and softball field that parents/spectators should use.
