Presents the Ninth Annual
Bob Murray Invitational Track Meet
Please review the information below and let me know by April 10th your intentions whether you will be attending or not. (804-769-2508)
Date: April 16, 2016
Location: King William High School
Facilities: 8 lane, 400 meter, rubberized track
Timing: F.A.T. Times and Scores
Sanctioning: Meet will be sanctioned by VHSL.
Entry Fee: $70.00 per entered team; $125.00 for both boys and girls. Make Checks payable to King William High School Track. Checks are due by April 13, 2016.
Entries: Entries will close at 11:59 PM April 14, 2016.
Entries must be made on milestat.com
Late entries will not be accepted.
3 athletes per event per school.
1 relay team per event per school.
Awards: Team Trophies will be awarded to the first place team and the runner-up for each gender.
Top 6 individuals and top 6 relays in each event will receive awards.
Medals will be awarded to the top three performers in each event, Ribbons for fourth through sixth.
Schedule: Meet will be on a rolling time schedule
All runners must check in with the Clerk at first call for their event or be scratched.
Field Events: Four attempts per athlete, No Prelims!!!
Medical: Certified athletic trainer will be available on site.
Additional Information:
Hospitality Room for coaches in the Cafeteria 8 am. Coaches Meeting 8:30 am. Cafeteria.
Field Events Begin at 9:00 am.
Running events begin at10:15 am.
Medals should be picked up by coaches at the
Conclusion of the meet.
No one will be allowed in the infield, except participating athletes.
Opening Heights: High Jump- Girls 40 Boys 50
Listen carefully for run-thru warm ups in pits.
Please discuss with your athletes the rules of sportsmanship, watching their own belongings
And equipment, Uniform rules.
Please inform your athletes and fans that the concession stand and restrooms will be open for their convenience.
Admission; $ 5.00 for adults and $ 2.00 for children under 12 yrs.
