Photo by Ted Plunkett The Lake Braddock girls have five of the last six Patriot District titles including a current string of four straight titles. In that same time frame, the Lake Braddock boys have taken a backseat to the titles won by their female counterparts. However, the 2007 Patriot District Meet on Wednesday at Burke Lake Park could see the Lake Braddock boys joining their girls as district team champions. The girls' race could essentially turn into a tri meet with Lake Braddock, West Springfield, and West Potomac as was the case in 2006 when only 12 points separated the top three teams. With the Mike Spooner era now over in the Patriot District, it is T.C. Williams senior Bradshaw Kenimer's turn to shine at Burke Lake on Wednesday.
