PLACE: Pole Green Park Cross Country Course (see map attached)
TIME: SEE TIME SCHEDULE ON PAGE 2
ENTRY You may enter up to 10 members on your Varsity roster. Only 7 members from each qualifying regional team (grades 9-12) may run in the varsity race.
RULES: All other members are eligible for the sub-varsity race. Submit all competitors, Varsity or JV, on the separate meet page on the Milestat.com entry system for the sub-varsity race.
Only those team members entered on this Milestat.com entry will be eligible for Varsity competition.
Please mark those athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with (*) on milestat.com. Please remember that 9th graders will not be eligible for all-academic honors.
DEADLINES: The entries must be submitted on milestat.com by 11:59, Sunday, October 30, 2016.

RULES: Cross Country section of the 2016 National Federation of State High School Associations edition of Track & Field and Cross Country rules.
COURSE: 5000 Meters (3.1 miles), mostly grass. Flats or short spikes are recommended. The
course is a spectator friendly course.

COACH OF The coach of the year is designated to the head coach of the winning team in each of the championship races.

ADVANCEMENT: The top 6 girls & boys teams in each Championship race and the first 10 finishers not on an advancing
team will ADVANCE to the VHSL State Cross Country Championships on November 11-12, 2016 at
Great Meadow, The Plains, VA.

SOUVENIR Souvenir Championship Meet Programs including team rosters, course maps, all time lists,
PROGRAMS: will be inserted into coaches packets prior to the meet. Additional meet programs will be on sale for $2.00.
SOUVENIR Short and Long Sleeve T-Shirts will be on sale for $15.00 & $20.00 during the meet. Please let you athletes
T-SHIRTS know this prior to departure for the competition.
