TIMES: Boys Race 2pm
Girls Race 2:30pm
COACHES MEETING: 1:15pm. at Finish Line
COURSE DESCRIPTION: A 5Kcourse run on the grounds on Leesburgs historic Oatlands Plantation. The course is mostly grass, with rolling hills, some wooded trails, and two creek crossings. Runners can expect
some short hills with sharp inclines. A spectator friendly course that requires very little walking. Course maps and videos of the course, as well as Oatlands Invitational information, can be found at http://www.prraces.com/oatlandscrosscountry

AWARDS: Awards will be presented following the girls race near the finish line.

QUALIFYING: The top 3 teams from each conference plus top 10 finishers inclusive of team
qualifiers.
ENTRIES: Attention Conference Meet Directors: Entries will be completed on milestat.com. In addition, please e-mail entry forms to Matt Oblas (matt.oblas@lcps.org) after the completion of the conference meet. Entry Deadline: Thursday, October 27 9:00 am; earlier if possible, please.
ADMISSION: Admission will be charged according to Region 3A East policy. The cost of
admission will be $7.00 general admission. Region 3A East, VHSL, VHSCA, VASSP, NASSP, VIAAA, and VHSL Principals Passes will be honored for the bearer only.
DIRECTIONS: From the South: Rt 29 North or I-66 to Rt 15North.
Stay on Rt 15 North approximately 18 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the right.
From the East: Rt. 267 (Toll Road) West to Leesburg. Left Lane at the end of the toll road. Less than .5 mile to second exit, Rt 15 South. Follow Rt 15 South approximately 5 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the left.
From the West: Rt 7 East to Leesburg. Follow Rt 7 Bypass to exit for Rt. 15 South. Follow Rt 15 for approximately 5 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the left.
PARKING: Please note that cars and buses will enter through the main entrance for parking and
follow the signs once on the property.
DRESS: No dressing room, dress at home.
T-SHIRTS: Long-Sleeve Region T-Shirts will be sold for $20 on-site only. You may pre-
order your shirts for your team. All the athletes entered in the region meet will have their name on the back of their shirts.

MISCELLANEOUS: 1. Stay off the fences and horse jumps
2. No coaches inside the finish area

2016 VHSL STATE CROSS-COUNTRY MEET INFO
The top six teams and top 10 runners (exclusive) will advance to the state meet. The state meet is scheduled for November 11 and 12 at the Great Meadow course in The Plains, Virginia. Start times will be posted on vhsl.org.
