MEET RE-SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 25!
Field Events & Running Events start as close to 4:30 as possible
A-Meet
Long Jump-Open Pit
Boys High Jump
Girls & Boys Shot Put (Girls throw first)
4x200m Relay **new**
4x800m Relay
55m Dash
300m Dash
1600m Run
4x400m Relay
These meets are intended to provide an opportunity for more athletes to compete. Consider them an indoor version of the tri-meets or quad meets that we have during the Outdoor season. We contest 1/2 of the regular events to allow us to host more schools and get greater participation.
*Note change: Entries should be limited to four in individual events.
We will still allow unlimited entries in the throws and will allow 2 relays per team. These meets have become popular and there are more teams inquiring about them. Meet management does not want to turn away teams, so the best option is to limit entries. The reason for this is the ability to run off the meet in a timely manner, facility restrictions and the desire to stay ahead of the coldest temps. Entries will be done on Milestat and are due on Sunday, January 23 at 8:00 p.m..
We will run JV sections, please send 8th grade entries in an e-mail to David Stewart, fdhstrack@yahoo.com by Sunday, January 8.
Three throws in the Shot with no finals.
Open Pit Long Jump with three attempts and no finals.
The starting height in vertical jumps = TBA.
There will be no entry fee required, but we ask that coaches help in running off field events, measuring, timing, or moving hurdles.
Results will be e-mailed to coaches and posted on Milestat.
These meets can be used as State Qualifiers.
