The Capital District Meet will be held on the home course for the Central Region Championships and certainly will showcase some of the best in region on Wednesday at Pole Green Park. Arguably the fourth and fifth best teams in the region with the Hanover and Lee-Davis girls will be battling out for the district title in a rivalry which will only be extended to the regional meet. The sophomore stars for both teams in Lauren Hopper for Hanover and Amanda Lineberry should also have a spirited race for the individual district crown. Lineberry is the defending champion, but Hopper has had more recent wins over her district rival. Ben Dejarnette looks lead his Atlee Raiders to a second straight district title, but the Lee-Davis boys have other plans as they return their entire top seven and some new faces from a 2006 Capital District runner-up squad.
