Admission: Admission will be$7.00 for spectators.
Entries:
Each team will get 2 entries per individual entries and 1 relay.
Teams may enter 3 or more athletes in an event only if all athletes have met the minimum standard
posted below at a meet with FAT timing and a certified starter and referee.
Entries will be done on Milestat and the VHSL hard copy emailed to adecoster@rcs.k12.va.us.The Milestat entries are the official entries and the hard copy is a backup in case of computer issues.
Entries are due by 11:59 AM on Wednesday, May 16.A verification of entries will be sent to each team on Wednesday afternoon with a performance list out Thursday morning.
Check In:
Check in for field events will be at the event.Athletes need to be checked in with the official by final call to compete in the event.If an athlete needs to leave a field event they must check out with the official and report back to the official in 10 minutes.
Check-in for Running events will be atthe tent under the bleachers near the 100 meter start. Athletes will not be held in a bullpen. Once they have checked in and receivedtheir hip number and lane assignment they may leave the check in. They need to be at the starting line for their race by final call.
Opening Heights
Opening heights for high jump and pole vault will be set 2 heights below the qualifying standard or one height below the 8th seed, whichever is lower.
Scoring and awards: All eventswill be scored 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 boys and girls teams.Medals will be awarded to the top 6 individual places and top 3 Relays.
State Meet Entries:
The top 4 finishers in each event and Top 4 relays will advance to the state championship.Additionally any athlete or relay that has met the state qualifying standard in a qualifying meet may enter the state meet. A meet must have 10 teams or 5 teams if using FAT timing for a state qualifier.
State meet entries will be done on milestat.The entry deadline is Sunday, May 27 at Noon.A paper copy may be handed to the meet director at the region meet or emailed to adecoster@rcs.k12.va.us as a backup for entries.
