SANCTIONING: This meet will be sanctioned for Virginia & border states. If you are interested in attending from out of state please contact Neil Mathews (smathews@hcps.us) so that we will have time to secure sanction.
FACILITY: A fairly new surface (2015) 8 lane all-weather track. Spikes of 1/4" (no longer) are recommended. Throwing surfaces are concrete with a new shot put event area constructed spring of 2018! All Jumping surfaces are all-weather rubber. Both high jump and pole vault landing systems are brand new! There are 2 available full size fields that are adjacent to the facility for warming, complete with hurdles and water coolers.
LIVE STREAMING: Milestat.com & FloTrack will be streaming the entire event live online for friends and family to follow that might not be able to attend the event!
EVENTS: We will offer all standard outdoor track & field events contested at the state meet as well as a Freshman 1600 meter run. The 3200 and the Freshman 1600 will be run first thing in the morning to beat the heat and give the athletes the best opportunity for a quality performance.
ENTRY LIMITATIONS: 2019 entry limitations per event (for paid full teams):
Distance Events (3200, Freshman 1600) 5 entries max
Sprints/Hurdles (110/100HH, 100, 300H, 400, 800) 4 entries max
Field Events (Shot put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault) 3 entries max
Relays (4x800, 4x100, 4x400) 2 Relay entries max
1600m & 200m are Unlimited Entries with top 24 verified entries racing as part of the Saturday program. All remaining entries are being held Friday night under the lights!
**Additional entries to the above limitations can be made for $5.00 per individual entry and $10.00 per relay for teams that have paid the team entry fee** Please email the extra entries to smathews@hcps.us by the entry deadline of 11:59pm, Monday, April 15, 2019.
DEADLINES: The entries must be done online via the Milesplit online entry system. The entry cutoff will be 11:59pm, Monday, April 15, 2019.
ENTRY FEE:
High School $150.00 per gender per team (7 or more athletes) or $10.00 per individual event entry /$20 per relay entry. Max entry fee $300.00 for both teams. (Each paid team will also receive all day coaches hospitality access and meals from beginning to end of the meet on Saturday. Friday coaches hospitality access will also be located next to the concession stand available at start of the meet.)

AWARDS: The top three (3) individuals and the top relay team (1) will receive custom "L-D Invitational" medals. The top two (2) teams will also receive custom engraved plaques.
CONCESSIONS: There will be a concession stand with a grill open during the meet.
T-SHIRTS: There will be 2019 Lee-Davis Invitational meet t-shirts and apparel available at the meet provided by MSP Design Group!
ADMISSION: There will be an admission fee of $6.00 charged for all parents and spectators. Athletes and Coaches may enter and leave the facility through the athlete gate located by the school greenhouse.
SCRATCHES: Please e-mail any scratches as soon as possible. You may scratch the day of the meet, but no additions or substitutions will be accepted on the day of the meet.

INFIELD: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line is off limits. Times will be posted as well as LIVE Results on Milestat.com. Coaches are asked to stay away from the timing booth. Direct any disputes to Coach Mathews. Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium. The track is for races only.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: All Teams will enter through Milestat at www.milestat.com. You must enter your team on Milestat in order to be entered in the meet. (No Exceptions) Coaches please be considerate and use accurate seeding marks to improve overall meet quality. Extra entries should be emailed to, Neil Mathews at smathews@hcps.us, no later than the entry deadline of 11:59pm on Monday, April 15, 2019.
