Freedom Quad Track And Field

Registration:
Registration opens March 22nd and closes April 22nd at midnight. We will start with 6 entries per individual event and 2 entries per relay event--please email Karen.Langrock@lcps.org if you need additional entries.
Running events timed by Triad Timing.
Order of Events and Scheduling:
Events start at 5:30pm with a rolling schedule for running events.
- 5:30: Girls Long Jump, Boys Triple Jump, Girls High Jump
- After first set of jumps: Girls Triple Jump, Boys Long Jump, Boys High Jump, UNIFIED LONG JUMP
- 5:30: Girls Discus, Boys Shot Put
- After First Set of Throws: Girls Shot Put, Boys Discus, UNIFIED SHOT PUT
- 5:30: Girls then Boys 4x800 relay
- Girls then Boys 100/110m hurdles
- Girls then Boys 100m dash
- UNIFIED 100m DASH
- Girls then Boys 1600m
- Girls then Boys 4x100 Relay
- UNIFIED 4x100m Relay
- Girls then Boys 400
- UNIFIED 400m DASH
- Girls then Boys 800
- Girls then Boys 300 hurdles
- Girls then Boys 200m
- Girls then Boys 3200m
- Girls then Boys 4x400m relay
Additional Information:
Concessions will be sold throughout the meet.
Please note that the schedule includes Unified Track and Field events--these events include athletes with special needs and their partner athletes. In our meet last year, we included Unified events immediately following the quad meet event and were able to maintain a fluid rolling schedule as normal. For planning purposes, expect one heat of each Unified event. Running these events will allow the Unified team to earn marks that will be used to enter the Regional Meet hosted at Freedom on May 11. If you are interested in Unified sports, in working the May 11 meet, or in bringing Unified Track and Field to your school please let us know, and we are happy to talk more about this process!
