Location: Blacksburg XC Course at the Blacksburg High School (3401 Bruin Lane,Blacksburg)
Directions: Traveling I-81, take Exit 118 (also Va Tech exit). This goes onto a collector lane that you will follow to Exit 118-B (to Blacksburg). Stay on this road. You will be traveling West on 460 Bypass. Stay on Route 460 heading west. Take the 2nd Prices Fork Road exit after going under the overpass (this is the 2nd exit after the stoplight at Virginia Tech). Exit will bring you out on Prices Fork Road. Continue on Prices Fork Road past Foxridge Apartments (on the left), shopping center (on the left), volunteer fire department (on the right), Kipps Elementary School (on the left), and Blacksburg Middle School (on the left). Continue past BMS and take a left on Bruin Lane at the stoplight. Continue down Bruin Lane to Blacksburg High School.

Schedule: Please try to arrive no earlier than 3:15 pm. This should give our campus enough time to get buses and cars out of the way. Tell your families to follow signs for cars, they will be directed to park in the student parking lot.

School Entries: Schools MUST send a signed and completed VHSL Regional Meet entry form to the meet director by Friday 1 November 2019 by noon. Mail (1650 Auburn School Drive, Riner VA 24149), email, or Fax (540-381-6110, ATTN: Mr. Dominy) are acceptable. Please ensure they are in alphabetical order and include student athlete's grade. Entries will also be made in Milestat. Entries will be due by no later than Monday, November 4th, at noon. Contact Coach Carper with late roster changes.
Restrooms will be available in the stadium between BMS and BHS.
Athletes are more than welcome to use our track however, no spikes on the track.
Team tents: set up along the practice field next to the bike path leading to the course. You'll see our tent up there as you walk in along your right.

Admissions: $8.00
Concession: None on site/TBD
Trainer: A certified athletic trainer will be on site
Buses: Buses should enter along Blumenthal Byway next to BMS and follow the yellow signs up to the High School bus parking lot.
Meet instructions: Only the top seven runners will be allowed to run in the varsity races. Alternate runners may be substituted on the day of the race. All National Federation Rules will be in effect including uniform and athlete conduct. Coaches, please review all rules with your athletes before the meet.
Finish Line: All runners must go through the entire chute to be counted. They will have bib numbers that they will wear. Also, remind your athletes that their singlets must stay on until they are completely through the chute. If they take it off before they are completely through the chute they will be disqualified.
Results: will be posted on Milestat following the meet.
Race Results: The top 3 teams and the top 5 individuals not on those 3 teams will qualify for the State Championship Meet at Salem.
State Meet Entry Forms: State Meet Entry Forms must be turned into me (Mark Carper- Auburn) for all qualifying teams and individuals before you leave. These forms will be in your packet. You will also be entering your runners online on milestat.com. Please make sure that you give me your state meet entry forms before you leave the regional meet. The paper copies are what I send in to the state meet director so they can check the online entries to make sure they are the same. Please do not forget to turn them into me before you leave.

The Course: The Blacksburg XC Course is 99.99% all grass with rolling hills and is very scenic. The course is spectator friendly and is considered a championship collegiate course. The course is located behind the Blacksburg High School.
