Date: Monday February 17, 2020 (Door open at 8:00am, Last person must leave at 2:00pm)
Admission: $7.00 per person. Athletes will be admitted in uniform only.
Passes: VHSL, VATA, VHSCA, VIAAA, VSBA, Principal membership cards.
Timing: FAT will be provided by Blue Ridge Timing.
Qualifiers: Each team will be allowed 3 entries per event and anyone that has met Regional qualifying standards.
Entries: You will place your entries on Milestat. Entries are due by 9:00 pm on February 14, 2020.
Scratches: Email scratches to mdenlinger@harrisonburg.k12.va.us after the entry deadline but before noon on February 16, 2020.
State Qualifiers: Top 3 athletes advance in each event, as well as the top 3 relay teams; also, those athletes that have attained the state standard at a meet of 3 or more teams where FAT timing was used.
Scoring: 8 scoring places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1)
Horizontal Jumps: Open pit, 1 hour, 4 jumps and no finals.
Shot Put: 4 throws, no finals
Trophy/Medals: Championship trophies will be awarded to the winning girls & boys teams. Medals will be awarded to the top eight place winners in each event and top 3 relay teams.
Hospitality Room: We will have lunch for coaches on Monday.
Track: Mondo Super-X 720 surface. Flats and 1/4 inch pyramid spikes, no Christmas trees. Spikes longer than 1/4 inch will NOT be allowed on track. Immediate disqualification will result if longer spikes are used. We will utilize eight lanes for the 55/55H and four lanes for races on the oval. This will allow LJ/TJ to use lanes five/six and be contested without stopping.
Bus Arrival: Have your team buses drop off and park at the edge of the parking lot.
Games Committee: Brooke Point, Patrick Henry, North Stafford, Stafford
School Assignments: No schools will be assigned an event to officiate.
