The 2020 Middle School State Championships will be contested as a part of the VA Elite XC Invitational on 10/17.

Saturday October 17th -Pole Green Park (Just North of Richmond)

Time Schedule -- CANNOT ENTER PARK UNTIL 2:00PM!!!!

Girls Championship 4K 3:00pm (RACE CAPPED BY SIZE FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE)

Boys Championship 4K 4:00pm (RACE CAPPED BY SIZE FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE)

Mixed Middle School 4K 5:00pm

How To Qualify As A Team

How To Qualify As An Individual

All middle schoolers are able to compete for their school or unattached. These races will be capped by size and thus, it is a first come/first serve system. The sooner you enter and pay the better your chances are of getting into one of these races. 

How To Sign-up & Run

To run in the VA Middle School XC State Championships both athletes and individuals must sign-up on the MileStat meet page prior to the October 20th midnight deadline. Teams will sign-up via their coach signing up the entire team while individuals can sign-up unattached or through a team page.

The cost of competition is $20per competitor. This fee goes to allowing there to be free parking, no admission fee, race bibs, live chip timing (w/ splits), awards, and medical staffing. Payment will be due online prior to the event.

When you click on the green button or bar to enter the met, it will send you to a register or login in page if you have not logged in. If you do not have a MileSplit or state site username and password, you have to register.

Once you receive that, login (top right corner), go to the meet page, click on the green enter online now button - then enter individual. It will identify you by name and email from your username.Add your contact phone numbers (for meet director's use only) and click enter individual. If you have not entered a meet using Milesplit before, it will then tell you "you have not claimed an athlete" and ask you to do a search for an athlete, add your name and search - if you do not find yourself, you may enter a new athlete and enter the meet.If you find your athlete you must click on their name, go to the profile page, and you must claim their page and await admin approva. Then when that arrives (usually the same day), you can enter the meet.
