Meet Information
In the boys it looked like it would be a close one between Norfolk Academy and St. Christopher's. Both teams had their best days of the season, but the Saints won pretty handily. Harrison Tucker set the High School Boys record for the Norfolk Academy 5k cross country course that has been being used since 2005 with a time of 15:47(another Saint, Charles Alexander, holds the high school record on the course used from 1977-1998 at 15:37). Wesley Carroll(Stonebridge) took 2nd with another strong showing and Ted Mosely(First Flight) joined him under 17 to take 3rd. Johns, Ruml, and Frazier followed Tucker for the Saints and were all under 18. Juniors Chris Bolen and Jay Woodard led NA to second with the help of Freshman Ian Granger, all were under 18.
In the girls race it was all Norfolk Academy. Anna Blackwood looked like she was back to last years form, just 2 seconds off her course record with an 18:47. Sophie Wolfe was sharp again running her best time at 19:12, and Heather Clagett was down to 19:34. The Bulldogs had 3 more under 21 and then another 4 under 21:30.
