The meet will begin at 4:00
Teams need to arrive around 3:15 so we have time to do the temperature checks
Parents need to arrive around 4:15 if possible so you can get your temperature checked and answer the questions. My ticket takers are parents and I want to get the temperatures checked and questions answered so they can get in and watch their kids compete. Running events started at 4:30 last week so they need to get there as early as possible
Each team will have an assigned area that they will set up camp and an assigned area that they will warm up in. Maps will be sent out Tuesday to let you know where you will set up camp and warmup. Warmup areas are right where your camp will be. All athletes must stay in their designated team area unless they are warming up for an event, competing in an event, or using the restroom
Entry fee is $50.00. Please bring the entry fee with you to the meet as well as any money you have collected selling tickets to parents
TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. WE WILL NOT SELL TICKETS AT THE MEET TO KEEP OUR TICKET TAKERS FROM HAVING TO HANDLE MONEY. NO EXCEPTIONS SO MAKE SURE YOUR PARENTS KNOW THIS. IF THEY COME TO THE MEET AND DON'T HAVE A TICKET THEY WILL NOT GET IN
All coaches will have to help at the meet. I will send out assignments a day or two prior to the meet
All coaches and athletes will have their temperatures taken upon entering
All coaches must wear masks at all times
All athletes must wear their masks at all times with the exception of when they are warming up and when they are competing in an event. Once their event is over they must return to their team camp and put their mask back on. If these rules are not followed an athlete will be disqualified from the meet and asked to leave the track
All spectators will have their temperatures taken upon entering. Spectators will also have to have their cell phone with them to scan a bar code at the entrance gate. They will open up their camera and point it at the bar code. Once they do a prompt will appear at the top of the screen. Click on it and a list of questions will come up that they will have to answer before they can enter. When putting their phone number in they will need to do it in this format with the dashes (xxx-xxx-xxxx). This is to make sure no one is entering that is not feeling well and also for contact tracing
All spectators must wear masks at all times. Seating for spectators is in the middle on both the home and visitors side bleachers between the yellow tape that is marking off the team camp areas
Only coaches and athletes are permitted on the track. No spectators are allowed on the track at any time. Please make sure your parents are aware of this
Only athletes competing in a field event are allowed at the field events. All other athletes must stay at their team camps
Only coaches will move hurdles
After starting blocks are used in a heat they will be disinfected and will not be touched for two minutes. We will only be running three per heat in the sprint events
Field events will be set up with cones for social distancing. I will show that to you at the meet
If there are too many athletes in a field event we will do them in flights
If an athletes is competing in two field events that are going on at the same time they must complete one before going to the other. No running back and forth between field events
Entries cannot be changed at the meet. Only scratches will be allowed at the meet
Athletes will not report to the starting line for a running event until they hear the second call
