12/22/2021 - We are sorry to inform everyone that the meet has been cancelled.  The Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex has cancelled all rentals and events through December 31st.  We hope that you are able to have a successful season and we look forward to seeing you at the event in 2022.

Where:Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex, 8001 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD, 20785.

Who:20 invited teams. If interested in participating, please email Mike Kiernan. Only invited teams will be allowed to participate. The meet will be limited to Virginia, Maryland and DC Teams.

Entries:1 relay per team in each event, 3 individuals per team in each event.

Entries due: Tuesday, December 28 at 9:00 PM. All entries must be completed on the milesplit network, www.milestat.com. Instructions are below.

ALL TEAMS ARE LIMITED TO 30 ATHLETES TOTAL, NO MORE.THIS IS DUETO A LIMIT OF 600 ATHLETES IN THE FACILITY.NO EXCEPTIONS

Entry Fee:$350 per school for two genders. $175 for single gender teams. Please make checks payable to NVCCTFA. Please send entry check to Mike Kiernan, 3948 Bradwater Street, Fairfax, VA 22031.

Scratches:We will attempt to accommodate substitutions on the day of the meet. Please scratch athletes not competing as soon as possible upon arrival to the meet.

Field events:Opening heights: BHJ: 5'6"; GHJ:4'6 "; BPV: 9'0"; GPV: 7'0". Flight order will be low seed tohigh seed. Track events:Section order will be fastest seeded sections first.

Awards:No awards this year, unfortunately due to the severe limits on entries and spectators

Results:Results and pictures will be posted at milestat.com.We will have live results on race day for all to follow

Concessions:Food trucks will be located on site

Admission:$5; NOTE:ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ELECTRONICALLY, ALSO ALL SPECTATORS MUST SHOW PROOF OF VACINATION OR A NEGATIVE PCR TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THE EVENT.NO EXCEPTIONS.QR CODE FOR THE EVENT WILL BE POSTED ONLINE.

 

ALL SPECTATORS WILL BE SEATED IN THE SMALL BLEACHERS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE TRACK.ALL TEAMS WILL BE SEATED IN THE LARGE HOME SIDE BLEACHERS.EACH GROUP IS TO REMAIN ON THEIR OWN SIDE,AND ALL TEAMS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN SOCIALLY DISTANT AS BEST POSSIBLE.THAT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM GIVEN THE LIMITED NUMBERS OF ATHLETES ALLOWED.

SPECTATORS AND COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES.ATHLETES MAYONLY REMOVE THEIR MASKS WHEN COMPETING.WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE WARMING UP OUTSIDE.

PARKING: ALL SPECTATORS AND BUSES MUST PARK IN LOT D. FOR SPECTATORS THAT MEANS GOING STRAIGHT ON BRIGHTSEAT ROAD AND TURNING RIGHT INTO THE LOT (DO NOT COME DOWN SHERIFF ROAD). BUSES CAN DROP OFF THE ATHLETES THEN MUST GO BACK TO LOT D.
