I.DATE:Wednesday,

May 25. 2022.Rain date- May 26.If inclement weather threatens, we will move

to a rollingschedule.

II.SITE:Louisa

County High School:400 Meter, 8 lane,

all-weather track. Concrete shot and discus throwing area.

All-weather

surfaces on LJ/TJ , PV runways and HJ surface. ONLY SPIKES

1/4" or less and flats may be

used on the all-weather surfaces. Locker rooms are not

available.

Athletes should come dressed to run.

 III.ADMISSION:$7.00 each day.VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPAL'S AND



HONORED GUEST PASSES will be

accepted. DISTRICT &

FACULTY passes and WILL NOT be accepted. Entrance at front gate near ticket booth.

Athletes

will be admitted free at the entrance to the stadium.Athletes will be admitted by

uniform.Athletes not in uniform will have to pay

admission in order to enter the stadium.

 IV.EQUIPMENT:Meet management will furnish starting blocks. All other



equipment, team or personal

 must

be furnished by the competing schools. UNIFORM RULES WILL BE

ENFORCED.Please handle athletic training needs such as

taping as a school.There will be a

certified trainer on hand for first aid and emergencies.

REGION STANDARDS. IF AN ATHLETE IS RANKED IN THE TOP 8 FOR THE REGION FOR THEIR

EVENT 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE ENTRY DEADLINE THEY WILL ALSO BE ALLOWED TO

PARTICIPATE EVEN IF THEY HAVE NOT MET THE REGIONAL STANDARD.ONE RELAY TEAM PER SCHOOL PER EVENT IS

XI. RELAYRelay

teams will be declared on a relay card provided at the meet at the time of

event check-in.

DECLARATION:Eight (8) athletes may be listed any four (4) of whom may run. The

relay will count as an event

 only for those athletes who are listed on the

relay card. ALL RELAY RUNNERS AND

ALTERNATES MUST BE LISTED ON YOUR ON-LINE ENTRY.

Note that
the only way to

enter an athlete who is only going to be used as a

relay runner is to list them in one of the 8

slots allowed for each relay. DO NOT ENTER MORE

THAN EIGHT (8) NAMES FOR ANY ONE

RELAY.Any runner in an

individual event may be used on your relay(s).If a runner is listed in an individual event it will count towards their

total number of events.You cannot

scratch from an individual event and then replace it with a relay event.Example:If your athlete is entered in two individual events they cannot be

scratched from an individual event and then run two relays.If you have questions about this contact

 XII.WEIGH-IN:The Girl's Shot and Boy's Discus will



take place at a table near the finish line.

Girls & Boys Pole Vault

weigh-in/certifications will take place at the pole vault area. All implements

not meeting specifications will be impounded until the end of the meet. Only those

implements properly inspected and so marked may be used at the meet.Please pick up all impounded equipment after

the field events are over.

 XIII.STARTING HTS:WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GAMES COMMITTEE AND ANNOUNCED AT THE

& PROGRESSIONSCOACHES MEETING.

the stadium and then must be moved to the lot by the metal gym behind Louisa

County Middle School.Attendants will

Form to Coach Cutright on or before the milestat entry deadline. This is an optional

backup to your milestat entries.Make

sure that all performances meeting Regional or State qualifying standards

include the date and location of the performance on the VHSL entry form.Separate verification forms for each athlete

in each event will not be necessary.Please include your contact information on your VHSL entry form in the

event of questions concerning your entry. You can also e-mail your contact

information to Coach Cutright at cutrigjl@lcps.k12.va.us. Your VHSL form is a

backup to milestat and is official if needed.
