Meet Information
This year we have been blessed with an abundance of youth coming out for track and field. Unfortunately, we have not been able to accommodate them with many opportunities to participate in meets. Therefore, we have decided to have an open Middle School/ JV meet where these youths may get some experience. Our goal is to encourage and motivate them into becoming more interested in track and field, and that they may continue to participate in it.
That being said, we are opening this meet to any athlete from the 5th grade through 10th grade. We are also asking for assistance from all coaches to help us as we will not have electronic timing. We will be hand timing all running events. The times may not be used for qualification of meet state standards.
We are eliminating the following events: 3200 meter run, and 4 x 800 relay. Other events may be eliminated based on registration. Please advise if there is an issue.
We will limit the number of teams due to our resources and lack of official timing. Please register asap. Contact me for password.
