2022 Pole Green Classic hosted by Mechanicsville High School

Home of the 2008 USATF Junior Olympic XC National Championships, 2013/2015/2016/2018/2020 Atlantic 10 Championships, the RVA Relays, and the MIlestat.com XC Invitational. We will be using the same championship course to be used in the 2022 Class 4B & 5C Region Championship Meet. The course terrain is rolling terrain with mostly grass and rock/mulch trail. Every mile is clearly marked as well as every 1000 meters. The course is set-up to be spectator friendly with a signature hill which will always provide a nice challenge.

High School Boys Team= $150.00

High School Girls Team = $150.00

Both High School Boys and Girls Team Discount = $250.00

Middle School Boys and Girls Team = $50.00

Individual = $10.00

Entries: Entries for high school and middle school divisions will be done online through Miletat.com entry system.

(Schools entering the Championship Division may enter additional runners in the Varsity B Division)

Chip Timing: Blue Ridge Timing will be on site providing live results. Please use the link on the page above to access live results. Each athlete will be assigned a bib number that will be placed in your team packet. There are pins in each packet for an athletes' bib. If you need any additional pins there are located at the packet pick up area. Your athlete may compete in any race you wish them to compete in. When the athletes go to the starting line you are declaring that those athletes are set to compete in that specific race. Example you can have 1 runner compete in the championship race, 6 in the b division, and the rest of your team in the jv race.  Please look at the schedule and do not have a runner compete in a race who cannot finish in the appropriate time.

Awards: Pole Green XC Classic Medals awarded to the Top 15 individuals in Varsity races. Top 10 individuals in JV & Middle School races.

Team awards will be given to the top 3 teams in each varsity division and the top JV team. No team awards for the middle school division.

T-Shirts: Short and long sleeve T-shirts will be for sale during the meet. We will be selling water and Gatorade for any athletes at the same location for T-shirts.

Sanctioning: At this time the meet is sanctioned for Virginia and Boarder States. Please contact the meet director as soon as possible if you are interested in attending from any other state. This meet will be VHSL sanctioned. NOTICE TO VIRGINIA MEMBER SCHOOLS. You are hereby notified that home-schooled athletes will be competing in the high school division.
