Meet Information

This year's Highlander Invitational will incorporate a scenic 5K course around the campus and ground of Radford University. The course will be 2.5 loops of a fair but spectator/coaching friendly area. A course map will be posted here in the coming weeks. 

Parking (vans and buses) will be available in Lot Z parking lot located on the University Loop on the north side of the Dedmon Center.

2:30pm - Couse Opens and Packet Pick Up

4:15pm - Boy's Middle School Invite (3.1K)

4:45pm - Girl's Middle School Invite (3.1K)

5:15pm - Boy's 5K Invitational (Varsity and JV combined)

5:45pm - Girls 5K Invitational (Varsity and JV combined)

6:25pm - Awards Presentation 

Entry Fees

$150.00 for one gender (High and Middle school)

$250.00 for both genders (High and Middle School)

Payment Information: Checks can be payable to 'Radford Cross Country & Track and Field". You may bring payment to the meet. The maximum for any school will be $250.00.

Results

Results will be posted on SnapTiming.com at the conclusion of the event. 

Course Map and Description

The course is all on grass with several path crossing that will be covered. The 5K course consists of 1 small loop (orange), then 2 x orange + blue loops, and then into finish straight. The 3K course consists of 1 small loop (orange), then 1 x orange + blue loop, and then into finish straight. There are several short sharp inclines on the course, with one longer downhill portion. There is currently no course records for this event. 

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 5 boys and girls in the respective races, and the winning team in both races. 

Additional Information

Bathrooms will be available on site and we will have athletic trainers present to offer limited assistance if required. Parking for spectators will also be in Lot Z.
