SPIRE INVITATIONAL and NVIAC Championship
Location: Third Battle of Bull Run Battlefield, Winchester VA
Entries due by midnight, Wednesday Oct 26
SCHEDULE: 8:00 - Packet pick-up
8:15 - Coaches' meeting at the finish line
9:00 - High school 5k Boys
9:30 - High school 5k Girls
10:00 Girls Middle school - 2 miles
10:15 - Boys Middle school - 2 miles
11:00 - Awards - t-shirts awarded to top 10 in each division; plaques for top three teams
NOTES:
o MS - 6th-8th grade (no younger or older). We may split boys and girls depending on size.
o PARKING: Millbrook HS - 251 First Woods Drive, Winchester,
VA - Look for trailhead entrance into the 3W Battlefield Park. (Do not park in neighborhoods, they will tow).
o NOTE - the parking lot is about a 1/2 mile from the starting line.
o Porta potties will be on site
SCORING:
Team scoring for each race. Top five score, next two displace.
NVIAC teams will have an individual awards ceremony after the Spire Invitational scores are given.
All results will be uploaded to Milestat.
AWARDS:
Long sleeve 2022 Spire Invitational tshirts awarded to top 10 in Boys' Varsity, Girls' Varsity, Boys' MS, Girls' MS.
Plaques for top 3 teams in Boys' Varsity, Girls' Varsity, Boys' MS, Girls' MS
CONCESSIONS:
Kenyan coffee and (Dunkin) donuts for sale. Cash or credit accepted.
