Entries- This is a VHSL sanctioned meet and as such all teams must follow VHSL rules.
Varsity runners: grades 9-12. Maximum of seven runners per team in all varsity races.
JV runners: grades 8-10. Unlimited entries in JV races.
NO 7TH GRADERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
NO 8TH GRADERS CAN RUN VARSITY RACES.
Entry fee is $8.00 per athlete.

Newport News Park Course
The 5000M course is located at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Ft. Eustis Blvd.
Exit 250-B off of I-64. Follow the signs to Newport News Park.
The course has grass, gravel, and paved road. Short spikes can be worn. Make sure to bring water for your athletes.
Buses may drop-off and pickup teams at Newport News Park, however, buses are not allowed
to park at this location. Buses can park at Woodside High School main parking lot.

A Boys - 8:00am
A Girls - 8:30am
B Boys - 9:00am
B Girls - 9:30am
C Boys - 10:10am
C Girls - 10:40am
JV Boys - 11:20pm
JV Girls - 11:50pm
AWARDS:
Trophies to the first three teams in all varsity races. Medals for the top seven runners of first, second, and third place teams in all varsity races. Medals to the top 15 individuals in all races to include teams with athletes that finished in the top 3 places in each race. ALL AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MEET.
