Location:Cave Spring High School
Entries: Entries will be
through Milestat Entry Services (Details to Follow) All times must be Verified
on Milestat.
Time: Earliest
arrival on campus 1 pm.2:00 PM Start
time.
Admission: $10.00
Passes: VHSCA, VHSL
Coaches Pass, VIAAA, VATA, VSBA, Principals State Membership card.
Region Qualifiers:Region 3A - 3 entries per event and 1
Relay entry, plus regional standards. I exceeding the 3 entry limit all entries
must have the region standard.All Times
must submitted must be F.A.T. - to convert a hand time, round the tenths up if
the hundredths is greater than 0 and then add 0.24 to that rounded time.
State Qualifiers: State 3A - top 4 performers from each
event plus those who have met the State 3A State qualifying standards for each
event as published by VHSL.

Order of Events: Standard order of events as
listed in the NFHS rule book
Officials:The Starter and Referee
must have the minimum of VHSL/NFHS certification.Schools will be assigned to events to
assist in running Field Events.If you
have a preference please get in touch.
Parking:Buses will be
directed to drop athletes off at the bottom of the ramp at the gate by the
tennis courts.Buses will then park in
the parking lot by Chaparral Drive by the side of the school.
Spectators:Spectators can watch the
meet from either the grandstands or event specific bleachers. No spectators will be allowed on the
infield. Areas will be roped off to
watch the Shot, Discus, Pole Vault, High Jump, Long & Triple Jump.
Team Camps:Team Tents will be allowed on
the JV practice field to the right of the entrance ramp behind the grandstands.No tents will be allowed in the bleachers.
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1 for
both individual and relay events.
Starting Heights:The
starting height at the pole vault and high jump will be One Height below the
Region standard, unless entries dictate a more appropriate height is necessary.
The games committee is responsible for making that decision.
Facility:The CSHS is Track
is a 6 Lane Max Flex surface installed by Precision Sports surfaces with an 8
land straight.
Time Schedule:
1:00 PMWeighing of
implements (throwing shed) and weigh-in of pole vaulters at the pit by the
track storage building.
1:30 PM Coaches meeting (next
to the timing stand)
2:00 PMField Events:

Long Jump followed by Girls/Boys Triple Jump

followed by Girls Discus (due
to the cage being on infield)

number of entries allows both genders will compete together and scored
