Meet Information
Welcome to the Virginia Association of Christian Athletics State Track and Field Meet -Hosted by Christian Heritage Academy.
Location: Franklin County High School Track, 700 Tanyard Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
Entries: Each individual is allowed to participate in up to 3 running events (induvial and/or relays) unless they are participating in the 3200 then it is up to 2 running events, and unlimited field events.
All entries are due by 05/10/2023 at Midnight.
Scoring: The first 6 places will score. The standard point distribution of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 in each event will count towards the overall team score. Per VACA rules, only events with at least one member from 3 different teams will be counted in the scoring. See specific events below for details.
Seeding: All running events will be run as timed finals slow to fast. Please enter accurate times so proper seeding can occur.
Schedule:
9:00 AM Coaches Meeting
9:10 AM Prayer for all athletes and coaches
9:15 AM Open pits for field event warmups/Implement Weigh In
9:30 AM Field events begin
11:30 AM or as soon as all field events are completed Running events begin on a rolling schedule. If there is no one entered in an event it will be skipped and the clerk of course and starter will move on to the next scheduled event.

100/110 Hurdles (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
100m Dash (Scored for all divisions)
1600m Run (Scored for all divisions)
4 x 100m Relay (Scored for MS boys and girls only, exhibition only for varsity)
400m Dash (Scored for all divisions)
300m Hurdles (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
800m Run (Scored for all divisions)
200m Dash (Scored for all divisions)
3200m Run (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
4x400m Relay (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
Field Events:
High Jump Boys and girls starting height 3'6" for both (once bar is moved up it cannot be moved back down) (3 attempts at each height until out) (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
Long Jump Open Pit for girls and boys (4 jumps no finals) (Scored for all divisions)
Triple Jump Open Pit for girls and boys after long jump has been completed (4 jumps no finals). (Scored for MS boys, MS girls and Varsity Boys. Exhibition for Varsity Girls)
Discus (4 throws no finals)(Scored for MS boys and girls only, exhibition only for varsity)
Shot Put (4 throws no finals) (Scored for MS boys, MS girls and Varsity Boys. Exhibition for Varsity Girls)
Pole Vault Boys and girls starting height 4' 0" for both (once bar is moved up it cannot be moved back down) (3 attempts at each height until out) (Exhibition only, not counted in scoring)
Spikes: Spikes no longer than 1/4 inch will be allowed. 1/8th inch preferred.
Concessions: will be available.
Seating: Limited bleacher room is available. Please bring chairs. Team tents may be set up on the outside of the track.
Spectators: Only coaches, athletes, and volunteers helping with the meet are allowed on the infield.
