2023 Pole Green XC Classic Hosted by Mechanicsville High School

Home of the 2008 USATF Junior Olympic XC National Championships, 2013/2015/2016/2018/2020/2022 Atlantic 10 Championships, the RVA Relays, the Milestat.com XC Invitational, and the 2023 USATF Cross Country Championships. We will be using the same championship course used in the 2022 Class 4B & 5C Region Championship Meet. The course terrain is rolling terrain with mostly grass and rock/mulch trail. Every mile is clearly marked, as well as every 1000 meters. The course is set-up to be spectator friendly with a signature hill which will always provide a nice challenge.

HS Boys Team = $150.00
HS Girls Team = $150.00
Both HS Boys & Girls Team Discount = $250.00
MS Boys and Girls Team = $50.00
Individual = $10.00

Entries: Entries for high school and middle school divisions will be done online through Milestat.com entry system.
(Schools entering the Championship Division my enter additional runners in the Varsity B Division)
Chip Timing: Each athlete will be assigned a bib number that will be placed in your team packet. There are pins in each packet for an athletes' bib. If you need any additional pins, there will be some located at the packet pick-up area. Your athlete may compete in any race you wish them to compete in. When an athlete goes to the starting line, you are then declaring that athlete to be set in that specific race. (Example: You can have 1 runner compete in the championship race, 6 in the Varsity B division, and the rest of your team in the JV race) Please take into consideration the schedule and do not have a runner compete in a race they cannot finish in the appropriate time.
Awards: Pole Green XC Classic Medals awarded to the Top 15 individuals in Varsity races and the Top 10 individuals in JV & Middle school races.
Team awards will be given to the Top 3 teams in each Varsity division and the Top JV team. No team awards will be given for the middle school division.
T-Shirts: Short and long sleeve T-shirts will be for sale during the meet. We will be selling water and Gatorade for any athletes at the same location for T-shirts.

Sanctioning: At this time the meet is sanctioned for Virginia and Boarder States. Please contact meet director as soon as possible if you are interested in attending from any other state.
